LRN names Lenny Izzo new chief revenue officer

NEW YORK (August 30, 2022) -- LRN Corporation, the leader in ethics and compliance solutions for global business, today announces the hiring of Lenny Izzo as the newest addition to its executive management team.

Izzo joins LRN as the firm’s chief revenue officer, reporting to LRN CEO Kevin Michielsen. He has spent his career building teams focused on growth through sales, marketing, and customer success for over twenty years.

Prior to joining LRN, Izzo served as chief revenue officer for multiple EdTech leaders, including Watermark, and its predecessor Taskstream, and most recently at Labster, a leader in VR-enabled educational content. Previously, he served as president of ALM’s legal markets group, where he oversaw operations in multiple international offices and led the integration of the firms’ largest acquisitions. Izzo also held a variety of leadership roles at Thomson Reuters, LexisNexis, and Silicon Valley startup Infrastructure.com. Prior to launching his business career, He was a Captain in the U.S. Army. Izzo is a certified Lean Six Sigma blackbelt and holds a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.

He joins LRN following several years of rapid growth for the company. In 2018, LRN received a significant investment from Leeds Equity Partners and in 2020 concluded the purchase of Dublin-based Interactive Services. Other executives who have joined the company in recent years include Chief Advisory Officer Ty Francis MBE, Global Head of Segments Matt Plass, Chief Marketing Officer Amy Hanan, Chief Legal Officer Aitken Thompson, Chief Human Resources Officer Margaret Sweeney, Chief of Strategy and Business Development Eduardo Gomez, Chief Financial Officer Dean Gels, and Chief Product and Technology Officer Parijat Jauhari.
