LRN appoints new chief financial officer

NEW YORK (MAY 24, 2023)LRN Corporation, the leader in ethics and compliance solutions that enable organizations to inspire principled performance, has today announced the appointment of Tom Hartenstein to its executive management team as Chief Financial Officer. 

Tom joins LRN with more than two decades of experience as a finance leader. Having worked across a range of technology companies, he most recently served as CFO for EVERFI, a critical skills education technology company, where he led the finance function, including managing the sale of the business to Blackbaud, Inc. and the subsequent integration of the business. 

Tom began his career in the audit practice at KPMG before moving on to accounting leadership roles at a variety of international companies, including Verizon Media, AOL, and Blackboard. Tom is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia and holds an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Richmond. 

Tom's appointment comes in the midst of a rapid period of growth and expansion for the business. LRN recently acquired the Compliance Learning business unit from Thomson Reuters, which has further enhanced LRN’s global reach, solution offerings, and international client base.
