Words from LRN’s Leadership on COVID-19

Written by E&C Expert | Mar 19, 2020 4:00:00 AM

As COVID-19 continues its spread across the globe, the health and safety of our employees and partners is our primary responsibility. We wanted to take this opportunity to outline some of the steps we’re taking to promote the wellbeing of our employees while maintaining business continuity for our Partners.

As the world becomes more reliant on digital connections, we understand the important role our company plays in delivering great educational experiences and enabling communications inside of our platform applications. LRN’s long history and strong position in the market allows us to continue to invest in our product during these troubling times; our cloud infrastructure lets us scale with higher than normal usage from sectors like education, healthcare, insurance, financial services and enterprise technology.

How we’re working to preserve continuity for your business
LRN’s infrastructure and processes will allow us to provide the same level of support our Partners have come to expect. By using the AWS Cloud platform we have built our system to scale with demand. We also provide LRN employees with state-of-the-art software applications, and use industry-leading single sign-on technology so they can work securely from anywhere. Every employee also has a company-managed laptop that is configured for automatic security updates and endpoint protection. And to make sure our employees stay productive regardless of their work environment, we use collaboration software from Slack, Zoom, WebEx, Office 365, Salesforce.com, and others.

As always, LRN provides around the clock customer support Monday through Friday to make sure your teams are running at full speed. Please reach out to your Account Executives or email us at Support@lrn.com you have additional questions or concerns.

How we’re keeping LRN employees and Partners safe
Our leadership team have executed a pandemic response plan along with detailed guidelines for working and managing teams remotely. For the coming few weeks, all LRN employees will be encouraged to work from home. We are confident that this business continuity plan for our employees and infrastructure will enable us to support our product and Partners with the same level of quality that we do today.

We have also suspended all non-essential company travel indefinitely. We will update this page and communicate any changes on our website, social media channels and inside our applications as the situation unfolds. Thank you for your partnership and please let us know how we can help support you.
